Oh, I saw you starting to break the RVS, but I also saw how people jumped to read you for it (and that’s the reaction from a majority of players here, probably 99% of the time here for writing a lengthy post during the RVS and trying to forcefully break it, regardless of your alignment)
Btw. I really think it could be useful for people to talk about what they think the scum setup is.
2 mafia teams?
1+ neutral(s)?
Just 1 Team?
How many scum total?
These sorts of questions will be uncomfortable for scum to answer and getting some consensus can greatly influence how the town handles situations in the mid/late game. They also have very strong implications on how we should scum hunt.
Imagine a world where both you and wiisp are wolf.
Wiisp knows they can read you accurately, and has something to give them confdence; wether it be previpus examples of successful reads, or examples of why it works on you.
What is more effective:
Saying they can read you, and how they can read you, so early in the game that it’s going under in meme and unrelated things?
Or literally anything else?
If they’re already deciding to voice it, making use of it is just the sensible thing to do.
So, I had the slight inclination that this might mean you two are not w/w until proven otherwise
It’s an unusual but fun setup, that much I know because it’s an Osie game, and it’s likely got mechanics and roles based on the characters in Darling in the Franxx which I know nothing about. There are likely some non-standard mechanics in play and possibly for any alignment.
My guess is that there’s one group scumteam, possibly a lost wolf, and a neut. 21 players would give me a guess that it’s roughly 4 scum and a killer role neut, or 3 scum and 2 neuts, or, some similar combination. But probably 5 non-town.
I think telling everyone to take a D1 shot in the dark and using the (likely random) consensus of this on mid-late game is a bad idea. Why should we lock possibilities?
idrc what the consensus on the setup ends up being since Osie is probably going to think the speculation is hilarious anyway. It might give insight into who has TMI on the setup but since I already gave my initial thoughts, it’s gonna be harder to find wolves and neuts based on what their speculations are, since they can just as easily agree with me or someone else to blend in.
I just keep reiterating on it because people keep asking. It’s kinda funny, and I can prolly string it into an AI reasoning for at least 1 or 2 people if I put in the effort pf reading the whole thing again
My estimation is 15/6 or 16/5. Definitely not 17/4 as that would be town-sided.
IDK whether this is a multiball or simply scum+NK, but we can focus on that D2 based off the number of deaths on N1.
Bruh. If both Wiisp and I are W/W then they don’t need a reason to be able to read me accurately; we would be both W/W! Her telling that in public “could” have just been a puppet show!
Wiisp can’t actually read me. Nobody but NinjaPenguin does.
She just says she can read me in order to give some meta-dependent validation on her scumread on me, while simultaneously watching on how I would react on her scumread.
I know nothing about Franxx flavor-wise. I have a gut feeling it is multiball due to being a closed setup and the wording of the win condition. Perhaps town x mafia x neutrals/serial killers.
Me too, but then Mercenary digged up an inconsistency regarding the matching/flow of his logic.
–which made me review whatever Tilg’s spaghetti argument was, because I didn’t actually pay attention to what he said after the “if Zone and I are scumbuddies”.
You mean how in the OP it says “my standard win condition for X is…”? Yeah, I’m guessing there are some alt wincons or something that can affect wincons.
