So something I do is try to read things from 2 directions. One is what would the player do and another is how is the player presented by others.

That said, I am genuinely more comfortable with Wiisp given the way they are pushed. Cut back to their behavior and I kinda don’t see any AI line between his flip = Proph alignment vs Proph flip and his alignment or whatever.

On a basic level I try to draw tells back to differences between alignments and information and I just do not see this situation as AI in any way.

On another subject, with 1 NK what does everyone feel about what that means for the game state? I honestly expected a 2kpn which means a kill was blocked, 2 kills went on one target or we may not be in a multiball/ there may be an arson if thats common here?

Personally I think the EoD wagons and the Marl nightkill are both good starting points, and can possibly overlap in the information they yield.

I already reposted the last 3 votecounts at EoD along with the reads people gave in the last 15 minutes of the day for my own reference, and gave my thoughts on those. Gonna work to resolve some of those slots.

The thing with the Marl nightkill is that I suspect it’s more likely a scum member voiced a TR on Marl yesterday - either before or after his mason claim - and that scum was less likely to voice an SR after the mason claim. Not because going against the grain is an entirely towny thing, but because TRing him would move him closer to a consensus TR and justify killing him in the night. That, and also that at least one of the scumteam likely has experience playing with Marl, and may have landed in his scumreads or else thought he’d eventually push them. Someone on the scumteam knew he was a threat to them, or they could’ve killed someone else who was even more consensus townread instead.

In a 21p game I was also expecting more deaths than just 1 NK. Not only does that mean either a kill missed or that there’s no second antitown killing faction, but that there wasn’t a town vig who could (or wanted to) resolve the D1 wagons.

This feels like early hedge on a slot when you’re trying to seem like you’re starting off with activity but not actually providing anything

what exactly is wrong with hedging on Zone early in the game? I also can’t remember a time I was wrong on that slot. Also he is easily town here given his latter posts, even if I was teasing him a bit. The earliest experiences I had with Zone’s wolf game was that he was nervous, and flaily, and then the game got rerolled, because “Osie”, he was town, and I easily noticed the difference right away.

it was shade, on both them, because their mindsets both fall into this, “Wolves play like this, and town play like this”, which is inherently incorrect, especially since on MTGS, we have a fair share of players that don’t ideal day 1, and start off really early with wolf reads they believe are strong. Rhand is a very good example of that

Oh yeah, before I forget. @Silviu200530 don’t out the sync rates of the players you tried to pair unless you want people to speculate on who’s a PR. I think I know almost exactly how the sync rates work and it’s to do with flavors/roles and not alignments.

I do not care for pre-flip association hunting. There is value in theory crafting but lineing up a lynch after a lynch…? No.

If we kill Wiisp we do it on merits of him. If we kill a scum we association hunt off their flip.
