Death City - (0/19 Players) - [8/8 Blood Moons] - Game Over - Geyde, Solic, and Apprentice won!

I was like “Kyo apparently got a stat boost let’s use bomb to make sure they die”.

Probably because his goal overlaps with a good’s wincon so strongly.

Goods should be focused mainly on collecting relics, and that’s basically what Solic’s role entailed, except that he needed to destroy them rather than use them.

I knew you were evil as soon as you took my orb, but I wasn’t sure if it was evil I could win with.

I trusted Geyde’s claim and couldn’t win with that claim for instance.

Then mass extinction happened overnight and all I had to do was lurk and run for it when I could.

So, here is basically a mod rant/introspective post that I’m putting out. Game went well even though I had some issues here an there when it came to being unable to process actions 24/7 and there were no major mod-errors anywhere.

To start off, all evils effectively played extremely well. GGhana and Marshal could have been less subtle, but w/e. Night was eh, but at least they basically open claimed Evil during an Evil stomp so that wasn’t to bad.

Here are some issues I’ve had with Good players, though.

  • Random bloodthirst CH1. This effectively resulted in a fair chunk of the more active and potential Good leaders like Wazza, Marl, and PKR getting wiped out before the end of CH2. I mean, there really was no need for people to rush their wincons like that as the game effectively lasted 6 Chapters.
  • Too trusting. 3-4 relics were within their grasp throughout the whole game, but the players who got them gave them away to Geyde and Solic, which would have royally screwed the Good players had Geyde decided to screw Whysper for fun.
  • The Ringelmann effect set the Good players back way too hard, especially with the early deaths. Throughout the game the only Good slots that were consistently seeking out relics were Eli, Amelia, and Whysper. Hell, around the end of CH3 the relic counter was like 8 Evils to 1 Good.

Here are some issues that I’m changing to the sequel to this game.

Gameplay issues.

  1. Modifiers will be less drastic. Like, Marshal had two passives that would each nearly double his damage and thus with a critical, his ult, and his BM passive then he could basically deal like 80+ damage with a fucking dumbbell, and in this game a player with 10 CON here would have 75 HP.
  2. More info will be displayed. Formulas would be public, and I’ll inform you of weapon attack power in their tool descriptions and what have you.
  3. Wincons will be completely changed. I’m planning on removing all reactive wincons such as protect person X, prevent alignment from becoming leader, and all wincons will be proactive such as killing person Y, obtaining items, and such.
  4. No wincons will be related to executions. This makes it so that a person’s wincon is way too dependent on the remaining players.
  5. In addition, the new wincons will make it almost impossible for evils to work with goods. The current system and the meta that App has created basically boils down to mid-late game for everyone to claim their wincons and for people to kill the ones who cannot win with the most living players. Goods should be able to win with every good, but Evils need conflict.
  6. Relics will be changed to Crystals. Which means that there will not be a Relic class and instead for good it’ll just be hoarding crystals rather than trying to summon Exodia.
  7. Inventory will be rearranged. There will be an extra spot for weapons, another one for armor, another one for off-hands. In addition the Crystals will be put in a separated inventory slot and you will be able to carry an infinite amount of them. None of them are public, but they all follow the same rules as a private inventory.
  8. Auto-retaliate will be on by default.
  9. Give scaling to ranged weapons. Like, endgame App’s punches were literally stronger than some firearms because ranged weapons didn’t scale with STR.

which orb did I take?

the one you gave me?

here’s something i bet none of you saw coming
i killed amelia :joy_cat:

Yea, I had a golden book I looted from PKR’s body. It showed all relics, if they were in an inventory/chest/not found yet. Upgraded it to platinum book in the skyscraper and it revealed the alignment as well of whoever was holding it, so I knew you were evil through that.

oh nice

that’s pretty sweet

anyway obviously there are things that could’ve been done better

but as a premise and as a game this is arguably the most fun I’ve had with a misc here so far so I loved it!

And yeah I didn’t kill you, because it wouldn’t raise blood moon, plus Whysper/others might have been upset at me. I had nearly enough relics at that point already, so it was just the blood moon game and staying alive then.

I basically outed because I thought there wasnt a point not outing with like 4 good players dumpster-fired
