(sorry, this post has been deleted to someone’s salt over it having the same name as one of his previous suggestions)
For those who are confused:
Dominus means master/owner in latin
Seniorem means elder in latin (according to google translate)
Oh god I’m gonna have a field day with this
Will make post after I get out of College
Main problems:
- Limited Kills
- Promotes gamethrowing for the BD
- You seem to have put no effort in some of these ability names and that saddens me, also it makes me wary of the rest of the suggestion
- You can become Knight and sell out your team
- You have literally no reason to be told who are the royals and who is Neutral
- I shouldn’t even have to explain why making people into mercenaries for no real reason is bad for the game
- Two converting factions competing against one another, there’s a reason Cult was changed, y’know
- You sacrifice yourself for the Dominus but straight up make the Seniorum Night Immune
- The Seniorum becomes an observer because ???
- Infinite meat shields
- Has to defeat the Unseen but the Unseen can take you out Night 1
Minor Problems:
Being immune to Knight or Unseen convert isn’t a passive it’s just a thing that exists
Hater
Don’t let these punks get you down OP it’s alright.
But yeah actually after properly reading it there are a LOT of issues
Hate doesn’t factor into it at all, my dear boy
She’s lying trust
I feel like a lot of this might have been copied from my Faction Suggestion…
As soon as a new Dominus enters, they can kill again. Cult also has limited kills, so does mercenary. Its for a good reason; I don’t want the game to be very chaotic.
How more so than the cult?
Suggestions for ability names are appreciated.
That’s the point
The brotherhood cannot recruit royals, thus it is useful to know who they are. The brotherhood can make more informed kills with their limited killing ability with this knowledge.
Reason: They devoted them self to the brotherhood, now that it is gone, they need something to do. It also provides other factions more desire to kill them, in hopes of getting a few mercs on them.
This is why the brotherhood is severely limited in recruiting and killing capability. Think of being a brotherhood member as hard mode.
I wanted variability. I see no problems with the different abilities actually being altered.
The seniorum does not become an observer.
Same for cult, seeing as any member can become cult leader. Also, it is not infinite, seeing as people have to agree to join.
same for reaper. Reaper is vulnerable to assassin N1, as they have no souls, and has to take out the unseen.
I wanted to know how to make it clear they were convert immune
These are completely different. Obviously, both cannot be put in
the game; if they were, one would have to change the name.
maybe the two brotherhoods are the brotherhood of x and the brotherhood of Y? i mean, they can still be brotherhoods, but with different names otherwise…
Well, for one, I was going to use mine in a future custom FoL, So go ahead and rename yours then
What’s the end goal anyway? You never specified.
explain to me how this isn’t gamethrowing
remember to reread the post if you are going to criticize.
I couldn’t find it in your un-organised heaps of text that are very hard to read
If you really need an explanation, think of it this way: Player’s only have allegiance to them self. Thus, game throwing is doing something that you know will cause yourself to lose, not your faction. For example, it is not game throwing for the nobles to try and get converted, as the cult/unseen is significantly stronger with the nobles, and thus the noble might believe they have increased chances of winning if they attempt to get converted.
