There’s also something else which I feel kinda points to suicide. To win via suicide, necromancy is needed. And we’re aware that DatBird’s body is affected by magic, despite being killed physically. It could be some sort of stasis/resurrection spell.

if he didn’t commit suicide it’s his own fault for not escaping or calling out the killer
instead he was being blatantly performative and trying to make it look like some1 wanted to kill him
that’s what i think too but there’s no evidence incriminating them so it’s our own fault
Okay, that’s what I thought. I went there for my first movement, but that was multiple hours after chapter start so I wasn’t sure
tbh it’s mainly because they did what I probably would’ve done if I needed a quick alibi which is like
go to dorm to avoid other ritual>go pick up a book no one saw me read and ‘finish’ reading it when I ‘can’t’ have done the kill
the evidence pointing to them is that eevee is basically the only other reasonable option for the murderer imo
but like the Dat thing makes sense especially with his talent and the magic affecting him
