chapter 3 is kinda ??? because no one really did much, since no one knew what to do - me included
combined with how we kind of figured out it was jane… but were too scared to vote them because they had been incredibly useful solving puzzles so ML’ing them would have been very bad

Yet I think it’s more important to look for who was the loudest voice for Trochi suicide theory.
As I think the MM might have given themselves away in that trial in the rush for a mistrial.
So in other words, you guys gave Jane the win and didn’t want to misexecute someone else.
Which is why Trochi got executed while dead.

unfortunately that message never really got conveyed, so a lot of people continued to tree the trial

well, we had no actual evidence tying jane to the murder
at the end of the trial some people just yolo’d on jane because the only indirect evidence led to her (e.g. breaking into the safe in the chem lab, being the ultimate toxicologist and not solving the trial?)
i just couldn’t bring myself to do it because she had been so useful in solving the previous puzzles and because we found no actual evidence leading to them
…although i don’t know if there was any, anyway
