fun fact, my ultimate, the one part of my kit which doesn’t actively discourage me from killing, is still fairly useless given that if all participants vote correctly, the trial is a success regardless of vote weight
i asked this because say it came down to 6 people, i could just kill someone and openwolf in the trial if MM was obviously alive, it’d be 2v3 and with my doublevote it’d make it 3v3 and since me and MM would probably have higher int than everyone else i’d just win
but if all participants vote correctly the blackened is executed regardless

The Blackened’s motive in this case is… unclear. I won’t get into it, but to make a long story short, they have an affinity with an extradimensional artifact like the Fates, which are the source of their ability to predict the future. In addition, this granted him access to his Ultimate Ability- the ability to invoke a solar eclipse which manipulated the fabric of causality to give them unfathomable luck in all things. Using this, they managed to exploit a tiny weakness in a lock in the Senate Records office, breaking it open and gaining access to a legendary blade- Legislabrand. They then equipped a hospital gown so no blood would get on their clothes during the murder.
Weilding Legislabrand, they hunted down the Ultimate Conductor, lying in the shadows in the In Posterum section of the tomb, and swiftly decapitated them. The attack was swift, and cut off any chance the victim had to scream… they then dragged the body into the center of the nearby Beyblade arena, carrying the head there as well. At that point, they set about creating a shocking crime scene, and arranged several red herrings. As well as cutting the victim all over their body, they used the pommel of the sword to hammer a beyblade into the victim’s forehead. Finally, they extracted the victim’s heart, and used the motive ritual to teleport to the dead victim’s dormitory.
Using the victim’s showers, they cleaned the blade thoroughly, then dried it out using a towel, cutting the towel in the process. Drinking their Larceny Linament, they travelled through the floor into Alyx Blake’s room, thankfully while they were sleeping, and then left to the Chemistry Lab. They smashed the bottle of the Larceny Linament, then placed the black box implanted into it down the drain of a nearby sink.
The final stage of the killer’s crime was simple. They returned the murder weapon, clean and dry, to its’ original position in the Senate Records office.

im gonna assume that the fact i was afk in my dorm just got retconned into me being asleep for the sake of not ruining the trial
i kinda wish light actually tried to win because he covered his tracks pretty well
When you think about it, we could have easily have had a mistrial if Arthur actually tried to win.

N looked around, fretfully, as the Fates slowly circled down on him. For a brief moment, you look at his body, and see something… horrible, twisted, for just half a second. It’s Hyde-like- nothing is visible, and yet every aspect of this boy you thought you knew’s body seems an unrecognisable, disfigured mockery of what humanity should be.
Then, a second later, he vanished. No sound. No screams.
Nothing.
Just void.
