She turns her gaze to [Arctic], nodding slowly.
“Yeah- yeah that checks out… I fully expect to see your star burned out next, you know.”
“Well, I see some… traces of hope in these people, I suppose. There’s already a target on my back anyhow, as I’ve demonstrated what I can do to investigate. It wouldn’t matter what I say.”
He slumps back down against the pod wall.
