Danganronpa can be hard to explain in detail, but I can give a general description on how the games work

Okay, so how each Danganronpa games works is that sixteen students or “Ultimates” that specialize in a talent are forced into a killing game. How the killing game works is that in order to escape the killing game, an Ultimate must murder at least one other participant (Max of two) without getting caught. In this case, the Ultimate is considered the blackened. After the murder has been committed, there is a time period where the remaining participants investigate for evidence on how the murder happened and who is the blackened. After the period of investigation is over, everyone gathers around for a class trial where everyone discusses what they find and figure out who the blackened is. If the majority of votes are incorrect on who the culprit is, everyone but the blackened dies and the blackened can escape. However, if the majority of votes are correct, only the blackened dies through an execution (Usually related to their own talent) and the game continues until there are only two people left (Although that last part never happens since the last trial involves finding the Mastermind of the killing game)
