Purple, because it’s the best color. Nice to look at, works well on a lot of things, and the darker purples are very cool colors so they’re easy to look at compared to brighter colors

Purple also works well for symbolism in a lot of situations. Dark purples can be seen as a more sinister color since it’s difficult to see in shadows, and since purple is one of the most expensive dyes it’s also attributed to royalty so it can be used to signify someone of high stature. I’ve also seen shadows depicted as purple in the context of magical darkness and what not as well. It’s a dark color and goes well with black.
