You’re not a mod, though.

And you were being a smartass.

It’s one of the weird parts of English, “smart ass” just means snarky

ahem

and he was being stupid

Rule 16: No backseat modding.

Fun fact about the Alchemist Class

It’s not a Killer Type

wow

lol. I was being stupid? Let’s analyse your post.

alchemist
-goal: survive
-one killing ability
-one ability to make yourself survive
-one ability to protect yourself from accusations (heal)

reaper
-goal: survive and (censured)
-one killing ability
-one ability to survive attacks
-one ability to silence accusers (chill)

You said they are “basically same thing” and then you call me stupid.

Reaper and Alchemist are nothing alike.

Reaper has to kill to get souls in order to survive. They can kill an unlimited amount of times which means the possibility of surviving a night attack unlimited amount of times. They have the option to bypass death immunity by using souls. Of course, Reaper has the Chill ability to stop somebody from talking during the day. Reaper cannot win if BD, Cult or Unseen are living.

Alchemist has 2 chances to kill at night, with no way of bypassing death immunity. They have 4 opportunities to be immune to death at night. They also have the option to heal anybody they want an unlimited amount of times, which includes poison and bleeding heals. They are also immune to those two negative effects. Alchemist wins with anybody.

“basically the same thing” huh? The only similarity is that they’re both Neutral.

I ask again, because frankly I’m tired of your typical replies that insinuate that I’m always against you, who’s stupid?

You know what though, I take it back. Sorry Norm, maybe you’re not a smartass. Burrito found the right word though, thanks bub :ok_hand:

Sarcasm was lost with this one lol. Calm down and step away from the keyboard for awhile. Your emotions are showing through your words.

Smartass (noun)
Someone who is super sarcastic and annoying.

Bad/poorly executed jokes and trolling aren’t sarcasm, in my experience.

You weren’t stupid for disagreeing, In my opinion your actions were ill chosen because it was based on the assumption i was being serious

Responding to being called a smart ass in a non-friendly way is not trolling, it is natural

I was referring to when you originally called Plex stupid as the trolling. You clearly knew it wouldn’t be well received and you chose to say it anyway.

You could say the same thing about about plex calling me a smart ass.

Not only that, but I would expect a moderator to have better impulse control then a normal player.

And I would expect a player not to needlessly argue with moderators about how they moderate, but here we are

Reaper is better than both other NK in my opinion:

Better than poss
-not immediately known to be present (puppet strings gives it away)
-Not outed by psychic after using their secondary ability (possessor is outed if they use possess with a psychic still alive)
-Immune to bleed/poison

Better than sorcerer
-Not being hunted by someone who’s sole goal is to kill you
-Death immunity to knights

Sorcerer*, plus Sorcerer also has a form of protection against knights (not attacking), rather than using up a limited resource that may not always be available, which seems to be a point you’ve glossed over in both “Immune to bleed/poison” and “Death immunity to knights”.

EDIT: It’s also probably worth saying that just because of that that I don’t disagree with the notion that Reaper is reasonably stronger than both Possessor and Sorcerer.

was sorcerer buffed to stop attacking if they target someone with a knight on them?

Rope, I have some advice It’s a proverb.
“Pride cometh before the fall, and a haughty spirit before the fall” (correct me on that if I am wrong)
With that I will be ignoring this thread

Arguing about balance without being up to date on patch notes is… questionable. But, yes.
