The first bit is a bit of me giving him the benefit of the doubt since afaik he’s still quite new to fm.

It’s the only point where you actually interact with a player is soft-defending the scummiest player in the thread at that time. He flipped maf as well.

The second part is longer because i was debasing his argument from a logical standpoint. I tend to promote good/accurate logic, correcting people where necessary.

You hardly explained the part you voted them for, in stark contrast to your initial debasing of their argument. The part that pings me there is that you put so much effort into the defense, instead of the offense which would reasonably require explaining.

as for the third point, on the first day i was posting without content partially due to a bit of outside influence and partially in attempt to do something other than lurk while developing reads.

Back to the non-lurking thing though i find that even if i am liking posts and whatnot to acknowledge my presence people tend to think im not their when i am, which is really not what i want in that case, i wound normally be lurking because i have nothing useful to add.

If you have a problem of lurking, just try creating discussion. It doesn’t have to be good discussion, but any chance to create player reactions makes endgaming more difficult for scum.

I thought it was pretty logical . And i thought the reason it was scummy was obvious, that there was no way a townie would know for sure (the way he said it implied it wasnt just reads imo) that one person is town and another is scum. In particular since there isnt N0 checks.

well duh. i said i was doing it while developing reads. as in, i didnt have much at the time, and the one/s i did have weren’t fully formed.

i was effectively making small talk. I could see you were typing a lot and it was just pausing a lot so i thought maybe the forum was glitching or something so i thought id ask something easy to respond to just to make sure, and thats what i came up with.

This would be easy to believe if it had not completely conflicted with the first point you brought up in your defense. It’s completely unrelated and had you said it earlier I would not see it as backpedaling.

There was a disparity in the read, which was the point I was making. The defense of yourself took priority over the initiative to find scum as seen by the lengths of the different sections of the post. That could easily be construed as super scummy.
