I think Alice did know EVO was goo all along, regardless of her alignment rn.

Shes only scum if she checked evo as a scum role using her scum ability, saw mafia goon goo, claimed they were only mafia goon instead of mafia goon goo to throw off town. But in that case she may aswell fully lie and say Evo was scum but she didnt.

It seems much more likely Alice is telling the truth actually. Theres a lot of ifs and jumps to make it so Alice isnt telling the truth.
