I think it’s more likely that scum has some additional form of killpower, since we know that the only threats to the Mafia are Waifus and Cosplayers

if there were an NK who could win with village they should have come out at this point, to be honest

because I wouldn’t have needed to, I was a pretty consensus villageread and in worlds where me/sulit/Italy are all wolves I could just fake a redcheck on some other wolfy player and we could all vote them

like

if I were a wolf and you were a villager, yesterday, and I’d hardclaimed a redcheck on you, we could have just … lynched you

and even without doing that several people were signalling willingness to vote you

there would be literally no need to make that play, and doing so would be extremely suboptimal both for that reason and because sulit was, you know, the backup Cult Leader

I don’t know for sure

my best guess at this point is that one of you or Zone is converted and has access to a poisoner-type ability

but that’s mostly just for mechanical reasons, and there are clearly weird mechanical things going on this game that I don’t understand
