If Simon was town he should have been lynched since my ability dictates that if the player is town and I select a town player the original person on the gallows will be hung.

the way your ability is worded, it seems like no matter what you do someone will be lynched, and since neither me nor nerbins was lynched it must have just fizzled (as opposed to failing).
also i would have to actually be in the gallows for that to work. which probably means either twilight or L-1 or something.

Only way Nerbins isn’t town here is if it’s a mafia > mafia overturn. Or someone else caused my ability to fail.

dude of course it happens that way. you’re a judge. you over-rule a choice, not make a choice in the moment. so if a lynch wouldnt otherwise happen at that time you cant make a lynch.

They only have like 3 or 4 votes on them, so they might be thinking that the votes might be directed somewhere else before the end of the day. The more votes we have on them, the more likely they’ll buckle under the pressure and finally talk
