I was planning on just like making a post before you talked in thread about how your read on me in marbles sucked to try to pre-discredit you but ended up not doing that
I was ready to flip on y’all if the joat died up until you pointed out the acrostic
yeah I knew that a few reads (mainly arete) relied on us being joat
so I wanted to point out the cover before I got called out
being stupid is NAI for me
i’ve done that exact kind of thing in wolfgames before and towngames before
like I was cleared this game for my nappy tunnel
because it was so stubborn and aggressive that I knew people would stick the “marshal is dumb townie” read on me which lets me get away with just about anything
I’ve had so many games as wolf where I aggressively tunnel someone and then the tunnel target will think “wow marshal is really annoying god damn you but you are probably town”
and being thought of as a willager is arguably one of the most powerful positions for scum because you can have free reign with your vote and pushing townies but also nobody will still question why you are alive
I was more like meh, marshal’s doing things that I’m not fully against, he can be town
But yeh did katze seriously have a reason for the tonal change or were you just making that up lol?

I was originally going to say that kat misses chloe but I thought that might be dumb

In the end I was just trying to get people to read the slot off of me and not kat because I was significantly more townread and kat’s posts were uh kind of wolfy
so I was trying to set it up to be “kat is having an off game, just focus on me for now”
I realized it sounded irl-excusey which was not my intention so I just dropped it entirely
it was obvious enough so that people would see it
but subtle enough for people to reasonably think i’m joat who thought this was a good idea

PR hunting on this site in all honesty is not that hard
we had a pool of 3 people at the end because so many people did subtle things to spew themselves VT
mode being obvious joat was whatever but we had quite a few obvious VTs which helped narrow down the pool a lot
