i’m mainly going to be going over the stuff about gorta because that’s pretty much the main reason i think they’re a wolf, other than how i TR them less than everyone else, along with light

how is this tiny amount of reading into a slot, plus gorta’s tiny amount of content produced, enough for you to be sure about them being scum, and why did you never push this?

I liked you a lot during D1, you were there along with Min who were good enough to pass even though there was theoretically a chance for you to be scum. You made some good points, and had a good tone, and that was enough then.

I’m not as sold on illumin as everyone else seems to be, I don’t find their posts particularly towny. The only thing I agree with them on is their take on Gorta, but I’m just waiting for him to dig his own grave and dunk on him when the time is right~

Also, I actively dislike the way they’re trying to tell other people what to think; these are both about Shurian, and the former was actually before she started scumreading him which is very bleh

the first post shows appel is scumreading illumin on D1, but the second shows her claim earlier today that she had townread illumin spare for certain things, but the reality is that it’s the opposite --she scumread illumin and only sparingly gave them townpoints

it’s not based on whether or not you find people scummy, but how little you townread them

why is this a bad thing
if you’re better at finding town than finding scum then what’s wrong with playing it like this?
it’s effectively what i’m doing right now and it’s why a lot of my reasoning has been hard to explain
the only 3 people i see being wolves are you, light and gorta, and before i had this PoE gorta had hardly done anything so i can’t really scumread that
but now i’m more sure about him being town and so that brings me back to you and light

appel was criticizing illumin for her PoE being based on weakest townreads rather than scumreads, despite there being nothing wrong with this, as i explained in this post (i don’t see a need to repeat myself -most of this case is already dotted around)

My whole read was based on their inactivity, because as far as I knew, Gorta being AFK to this extent wasn’t normal for him. We played both Pokemon 9er and Umineko, and those are my most recent games with him, so I was under the assumption that was his normal scum meta

Gorta had just gotten out of a game where he got dunked on D1 as a wolf for being more active, when he had just made up his mind to change his meta. He then proceeded to announce that he would slank as scum and would not try again. Him being more AFK than “usual” here, I thought was a clear indicator that he had randed wolf again and simply didn’t want to play.

but gorta is inactive as town, so how can you conclude that he is just a wolf with no motivation after last game?
and how is he more AFK than usual?

I think Gorta will be easy to read when you leave him be and just look at how he handles the thread as a whole. He usually has a hard time producing content while he’s there as scum, so I’m just looking out for those filler posts.

how did you think you were easily going to be able to read gorta if you’re now telling me you can’t remember a towngame from him

not only does appel blatantly lie about not knowing the extent of gorta’s inactivity, but this also goes against the post she made at SoD about trying to read gorta based on activity? how did she plan on reading gorta based on this if she didn’t know how active he was as town?
i’m starting to see what gorta meant when he said he catches wolves solely based on the treatment of his slot

appel’s treatment of me and gorta is more dismissive rather than defensive and she doesn’t try to convince us that we are wrong about her, but instead it’s more telling us to lay off and she addresses everyone else, because as a wolf she needs to convince the majority rather than addressing the root cause of the problem and help me to change my view of her

The thing about this was that I was actually thinking

Min/Appel/Illumin8 were my 3 scum going into n1.

Right now I’m leaning on
Light being scum and 1 of Appel/Illumin8 being scum.

Which is why I told you both that you were similiar players and should be able to read and prove me wrong or not (because I actually really like my gut reads but weh)

Something interesting happened (Appel being scumread and Illumin8 being townread) in that timespan when I was on Night Shift and I don’t know if I have the time to look it over before the day ends.
