i think appel/illumin8 have been weird enough surrounding each other to the potential of it being wolf and i scumread them both to different degrees individually
and then there’s just… gorta. Fucking hell.

I really don’t know what to do with gorta. And I don’t want to be that person but he literally said he would hard-tree as scum next time he randed it.
There’s nothing to read him on. He has more posts saying that he has to go and he’ll be back and apologizing for not being around than there is anything else combined.
Summary
I have a few main issues with Illumin8. It feels a lot more like they’re smelling blood in the water with how they’re trying to discredit me and ignore my reads by calling them bad. They keep focusing back on the same points, possibly because I admitted that I didn’t have a good reason for my lack of ability to actively stay in thread at EoD yesterday, and also get ‘annoyed’ about nobody evaluating dead players’ reads and then just ignores them when they don’t fit their mental space, such as Jane’s read on me.
Going further on that front, it definitely feels like the push on me is scum motivated because it went from “Light is towny” to “Tinfoiling Jane/Light scumteam” and then to “Okay well Light is probably scum” after Jane flipped V which just feels like I’m being setup for a mislynch.

if you quickhammer me, you quickhammer me and I really can’t stop you, but I’m having trouble keeping my head up at this point and am heading to bed.
I’m pretty sure you would also be able to figure that out if you were to read my ISO
My overall progress on his slot has been something like

My only read on them has been a meta-based scumread
Now that people have flipped V and there are only a few possible wolves left, I’m more than willing to put them back into PoE because they have zero content and clearing someone like that at this stage would be horrible
Arctic is solving, active, and making reads. Arctic might have been wrong, but I don’t see much scumminess
I really don’t like how Light and Appel push me being a wolf for not being active over a scum game rant made out of semi anger
I’ve been eyeing the thread while having online classes, and I’m more conflicted than I thought I’d be
Light’s takes are logical, but the manner in which he has approached this day has seemed really defensive and somehow… systematical? Almost to the point where it feels like they’re artificial, aka. Light scum
It’s not like they don’t have some decent takes, but it feels more like he’s stating them for the others to see instead of really believing in them. You know? Light is usually much more pushy than this – see: Umineko – and I haven’t been seeing that.
Arctic has been all over the place when it comes to their reads, and the same “not really believing in them” applies here as well. They’ve consistently displayed much more confidence than they actually have – scumcasing both me and Marl and then hesitating to vote either one of us before being forced to do it, and now pushing me even without having a clear grasp on my mindset.
Arctic has easily been the slot I’ve been the most conflicted on during the course of the game, I’ve been going back-and-forth between “is this a newbie wolf” and “is this a willager”
Some of their actions can make sense and I can see a V-motivation behind them, but there are also posts that I can’t fathom how a person who’s genuinely trying to solve could come to that conclusion
I’ll wait on their response to my ISO before continuing with my thoughts on this slot, though
illumin doesn’t look nearly as bad as the other two, but I’m seeing that most of their content comes from agreeing with others and asking questions. Their progression regarding Light and Arctic seems to fluctuate a lot in a wolfy way; they don’t seem to be conflicted other than by stating they are, and it looks like their overall reads change depending on what the thread thinks, while they keep disagreeing over minor things. It’s a bit hard to explain without quotes, so I’ll put go grab some:
Original reads
This somewhat pinged me, because earlier they were advocating for an info cuddle with Arctic, but they keep hedging when it comes to their slot – yet they still follow the consensus and put them in PoE, even though they’ve implied they don’t think Arctic’s scum.
They back up their reads, and so far it seems ~alright, with the exception of Gorta being casually pulled out of PoE
Changing point
This really makes me wonder how credible their reads really are. This was after both Min and Arctic expressed dislike towards my slot, and they soon pull Arctic out. It feels more like they’re “replacing” the PoE, especially with the timing and randomness of it.
This is what I briefly talked about D1, even though it might be a personality thing, I still don’t like the way they’re trying to tell others what they think. There wasn’t really any progression on Arctic other than a single post where they said they (illumin) agreed with their (Arctic) post about the wagons
They’re talking about Shurian here, but like with their lack of progression on me, there was nothing about why Arctic can’t be a wolf with anyone else
They keep leaving things out, and no one questions them. Apart from that, I don’t like how consistent they are with focusing on the fact that Shurian isn’t 100% locktown
To put it shortly, rather then being any explicitly shown agenda-pushing, it feels more like their overall attitude of sheeping people’s reads, agreeing/disagreeing with insignificant points and changing reads when it fits the general consensus looks like either a pocketing attempt or a sheep
And it’s not even that none of these people don’t have decent posts
But I have problems with all 3 of them
