It’s interesting how I’m apparently the only dissenting vote.
In short, I am willing to bet that the viggest in this game are just vigges, and thus that Mount Doom is meant to be weak because it dosen’t have a strong effect (even though it does have an insanly strong one).
You haven’t made a good case for why something is better than masses of unconventional public info that the wolves can’t manufacture without increasing their chances of getting lynched, that’s why.

I am not willing to bet on that, since most locations are actually quite neutral and you’re just suggesting this one is wholly townsided based on assumptions about guilt that don’t apply to this site as we have it in many games.
Rivendell doesn’t look terrible to me. There should be at least a few consensus townreads at EoD so we could let them get the heal and guarantee at least one consensus townread lives to D2.
Minas Tirith is probably better D2->D3 in my opinion. I expect more wagons to pop up D2 because of night results, so the first effect could be helpful.
Or we could get Mordor out of the way because the effect gets stronger for scum as the game goes on?
Isengard is… probably fine right now. The first effect benefits both factions, the second too - if we have town vigs. Somebody lives through a vig = suspicious. Actually this is one of the best choices right now I think.
Mount Doom is… weird? I don’t know if it benefits us at all. It seems difficult to control and might lead to something similar to a random lynch. And it also causes a lot of death N1 but that’s less of an issue since it’ll narrow things down, making it easier to establish the PoE.

You have to actually sell me on Mount Doom being good because I don’t see it.
I guess the argument is ‘scum will try to cause a town lynch by random voting’ but everybody random votes at one point or another so we could even get an accidental town lynch. I don’t really get how this is good.

I’ll probably just start playing when we actually have lynches, this is even worse than D1s in FoLs to be honest.

Whoever makes a suspicios change of vote will be scummy and that’s info, I think Ici wants that to happen.
The reason is I don’t think any of the other maps are good choices for D1 at all so I didn’t bother.
Oh no, the point is thus;
Wolves are forced between piling two wolves on one particular wolf or placing their vote on villagers because a single vote is neccecarily dangerous to the person you put it on if nobody agrees with you. That creates extremely obvious voting patterns and forces the wolves to put villagers as their highest villageread.
That sounds good to you, wouldn’t you say? Either that, or they have to bus D1, which is still great for us.
Actually I missed this one myself lol. I should have quoted location names too. First effect is conditional on how many dead there are of either alignment. I think the second one depends on distribution of limited use abilities. hmm. Let me ask Luxy about this one.
