I said that there was obviously 6 wolves. Rule of thumb is that number of wolves=(number of players-1)/4, either round it up or down depending on town power.
Eh I disagree.
If done well it can be really fun, like that WWF Mafia game we played off-site
People here just claim for no reason, so we basically had 2 modkills because of people flavor claiming early game.
I work with 50% town 50% mafia in order to make sure everyone has fair numbers
Datbird claiming treebeard when I am one>
I was reading Squid as Tree Beard from that interaction, to be honest – as soon as Dat claimed, she immediately voted him, at a point when most people were starting to back off since he was getting modkilled.
Did me pretending to want to hammer on maps where you can’t RB/redirect rule me out as RB for you
Also lol at people just wanting hammers without bothering to make reads despite that hammers don’t work for mislynches.
It’s public already.
(I didn’t discuss the Squid read because I was staying very far away from anything flavor related.)
I was so sad when hjasik didnt mordor datbird
I’m pretty surprised at how good at gut-reading Hjasik has become. First their read on Sulit in Clown Fiesta was ridiculously accurate and now he immediately soulread Dat as wolf here when I was townreading him.
I feel hjasik is a good reader but can’t communicate why he reads someone that way in order to get them lynched
Do you have any advice on pushing a wolf agenda while making it look natural?
That’s pretty hard to do. I usually have a lot of FM experience and even I have issues making an agenda look natural.
I think the main issue is making your progression look natural. A villager wouldn’t have immediately assumed that Blue was a wolf and there would be far more solving and re-evaluating on whether was he really a wolf or not rather than jumping to conclusions.
It’s the same reason why I wanted Vulgard/STB dead d2. Vulgard didn’t bother to wait for EG’s flip from my “dayvig” to make their read on me and instead just rushed things through. STB was adjusting the game-state to his reads rather than the opposite by immediately stating the Solic bussed Kai.
The main thing that separates villagers to wolves is how they reach to their conclusions. Villagers will usually go step by step in how the solve games meanwhile wolves will have very drastic moves and will immediately go from A to B without any sign of progression or whatnot. Like, this is pretty much why I use mostly thought process to read people as emotion and conviciton are fake-able, tone is fake-able, meta can be overcome, associations can be fooled by bussing and distancing, but it’s absolutely nigh-impossible for a wolf to imitate a villager thought process.
did u really have to say that tho .-.
like give her a chance and don’t be so condescending all the time it’s really getting on my nerves
maf cleaning themselves or a teammate? can’t really see that tbh, esp when i was sring u
also i doubted it was a passive self clean bc of the hammer passives
Thank you, this makes a lot of sense.
You don’t. Town was stupid to not question it more. Like FK believing you over mentioning that Kai mentioned being high is just times infinity. Especially, because Kai flipped scum, so they could have easily been spamming that in scumchat. And it’s such a known thing for them.
Also I would have never asked you to ask if there is conversion, but meeh. Town gonna town. Remaining players alive didn’t care enough to win it seems. Scum had way bigger WiM and it is disheartening as being town myself.
