Give a wallpost, there’s only one person saying wallpost is hard for their eyes and I don’t think you should just accomodate them. But… you’re already probably way above your PR if you had one, so just go on and list every single point in many different posts. I’m doing a wall post with contents after 100.
I do agree that wallposts are excessive this game, but with the PR I have currently, what can I do? Lose my vote yes XD.
Alright, so, in the actual world, nothing gets done. You’re going to thunderdome yourself with a villager, flip yourself villager, and what sort of info do you get? Nothing, town is two lynches down and nobody is cleared, so what is the point?
If you’re gonna lynch us you’re lynching us because you think we’re a mafia.
If you have some sort of “wow we’re the safe lynch for info” I’d like to counter that accusation.

I actually disagree with my hydra partner here and we covered this privately, and I think it’s worth me talking about it here for a few reasons. Marshal, your reads suck. Your reads suck because you have a predetermined way of reading people that generally end up wrong, and the main purpose is that you do this:
And to note: you being town is also a situation where people have to react. So while your reads aren’t based on OMGUS in your mind, the only reason why you’re drilling this down is because people reacted to you.
Probably the biggest flaw in that playstyle is that, to start off with, reaction tests are pretty bunk. There’s not really a standard wolfy reaction, and villagers are definitely likely to react in what people consider wolfy ways, because villagers don’t actually care about what they’re posting. So half the time, whatever reads you initialize are faulty. Then you pad it with stuff to make you feel more comfortable with your read.
Consider that.

Wolf mindset: “I have to start strong, I need to start in a funny, witty way to get some early town reads”. Usually it’s just good enough to start with a default “hi”. But the awareness of being a wolf tends to get to the player and force him to make some mistakes when he opens.
Trying hard to come across as funny and relaxed/being very helpful (and focusing your early activity exclusively on one of those things):
i know i shouldn’t rely on this guide alone, but this fits the bill for scum start. This doesn’t actually do much for the game but look townie.

After being shaded for the opener, disquieted says they will be asking a lot of questions and that’s just how things go. While i think the rest of it(im in a mentor role etc.) is fine, i haven’t really seen anymore questions from disq and that felt just like covering.
I find it weird how you are townreading kai for agressivly fluffposting but your hydra has scumread me for fluffposting when mine has been a lot less agressive. Tbf, this is a personality quirk of kai’s, but i don’t see this wisdom reflected in arete.
I get wanting to push inactives for reads, but why not… Jake/Mononukalice? Or chemist? or Firekitten?
Derps actually has posted a decent amount so i don’t really know why derps in particular here.

Here comes a large part of my dislike on the slot. Before this, there had been 4 posts posted(all filled with a decent amount of contetn. However, at this point, disq starts making a lot of posts and actually interacting with people. I suspect this is because of my slankvig. Disquited confirmed they knew about it, and it’s pretty clear that this hyperposting is going on out of fear of my slankvig. I just wonder why arete would mention it to disquieted at all? Like “Marshal claimed slankvig who goes for under-ten-posters, better start posting” is somthing that goes in a scumchat, not a hydrachat.
I don’t see this as consensus. I am scumread by many people, so is nerbins, and pkreistess has some advocates. I want the reasoning on why you found this ocnsensus
Disquieted has also been trying to townread, but discredit me. I will follow up on this later.

I don’t think i’ve been putting you in a catch-22 here. Your other posts were thought out(albeit scummy) and spread out, but now you come on and start posting a ton of stuff, likely because arete told you about me and you know i’m the likely shot here.
You are not the “easy vote” or “safe vote” I am risking a lot going for you.
This is just genuine criticism of my playstyle, and while that’s fine and all, it also does a great job of discrediting me. The strategy seems to be arete hardpushes me and disq discredits my pushback.
I don’t really have the motivation to do an Arete ISO but here’s the disq one.
I don’t find disq as scummy as arete but i defenitely do see scummy peices and this isn’t gonna stop me from being lynched.

The whole “kai calls me and preistess TvT after i claim” is exactly what happened in LotrFM when arete and i were scum and pushing on alcie.

I think you’ve missed something, Marshal; what I’m saying is that I disagree with Arete and think you’re more likely town with bad reads. I feel like we may have a fight about our vote - but I guess my opinion doesn’t matter since I’ll be ceding my influence to Arete either way, so I guess this whole part is irrelevant. I kind of want to push on something we agree on instead, like DatBird. But we’ll see, Arete doesn’t know how to push someone he’s already pushed, at deadline.
Other things to respond to are that if you’re remarking on my posting style, I highly prefer real-time interaction and haven’t got any of it this game and hence aiming for that was important for me; in addition, I am nowhere near hitting my post limit for this phase, so I don’t really care about conserving posts at this point.

This is really obviously a misrepresentation of what Disquieted is doing. Like, if you actually read their post, they specifically call attention to the lack of content in Derps’ large volume. I personally disagree with the Derps read based on meta but you’re ignoring what Disquieted is actually saying here.

Geyde had a thread tempo read on you earlier (basically, no one was pushing on you despite you being a relatively easy push and a lowposter with activity tells) and given the lack of people jumping on that/etc., I tend to agree with that thread read, like I explained earlier.
I’d prefer Arete to answer this, but I guess I’ll do it myself as an example.
You don’t seem like you’re pushing anywhere. This is especially egregious since votes are hidden but you’re just existent, you’re not actually doing anything. I guess you’re playing like me? But at least I have the excuse of not actually wanting to play this game conventionally. You just… exist.
You’re here to ask questions that looking at your ISO I’m not sure what you’re getting from, and you’re not… doing anything.
That’s my take on it. I think Arete has a similar take that’s influenced by Geyde and he’s a bit paranoid about that and I’m trying to walk him through that as well.
