Welcome to the Random Rolemadness Madness! This setup follows standard mafia rules, but all roles are randomly selected of this list.
Because, you know, being the Alpha Townie is a dream.

The setup is infinite by nature, following the rule of town = scum*3.5
Any players in “excess” will be neutrals (ie, 20er will be a 4/14/2)
I will roll exclusively third party roles for neutrals. Third party roles can’t be rolled by neither mafia nor town.

Gameplay

Balance is not guaranteed.
Cycles are 72/24, or shorter if someone is lynched
We are going to do majority + plurality.
There are no logs, but there can be death notes.
Private chats of a kind will be done in PMs.
When you receive a card you will have 24 hours to reply, confirming you have received it
Feedback is limited, only investigative roles will be aware of occupations or redirections
I will add modifiers to a role if it is recommended by its description (normally being 3-shot or 1-shot).
Any role can be from any alignment.

To Join

To join, simply express interest in joining by saying something like “I want to join” or “/join” or “/in” or “sign me up, coach” or whatever you want

What if there’s an odd number of scum (with 3 scum, will it be 10 town or 11 town)?

48 hours for the day are probably enough.

If it’s enough, town would just reach majority…

What? I don’t understand how phase length is related to majority…

Yeah, I understood, still, 72 hour days would probably slow things down unnecesarily, since people wouldn’t feel pressure (but whatever, just my opinion).

So with 17 players it would be 3 scum, 10 town and 4 neutrals. Too many neutrals, I feel.

Neutrals are a balancing tool, since usually it benefits them to keep a certain town/scum rate

Shouldn’t the modifier be 3? I feel like 16’ers always have 4 scum.

I think it’s more like 2 scum in 9er, 3 scum in 13er, 4 scum in 17er, 5 scum in 21er.
