I mean if you thought about it for even a second it could of been seen as a bad strat.
Itās like you were suggesting it to see if you could get them to claim if 1-2 people agreed.
People wouldnāt just out themselves as doc for no reason d1. We need to form a consensus before trying to pull a risky play like that.
Docs should no longer out as they are the biggest targets. They canāt be healed by other doctors meaning each killer had a 2/3 chance of killing doc that night. Then we have 3KPN and weāre done for.
Which is why I delayed outing myself in the rerolled match. Strats like this only works if all doctors are on-board.
It wouldnāt even work if all them were on board cause it can be broken a lot easier now.
My question is did you think it was a good idea before you replied?
Outing yourself as a doctor results in an instantly confirmed townie and prevents the tracker from getting false positives on you. There is still some benefit to this tactic, but the fact that we canāt WIFOM heal each other makes it far more risky than in the previous setup.
I donāt think the risk is worth it. If doctors out we may have a guaranteed townie for 1 or 2 nights. However, at least 2 of them will die the night they out. Doctors should stay hidden and we should have a citizen lead the town.
You donāt think we will get destroyed if all our confirmed town died?
Like if they outted today not only will the scum be able to wipe out three confirmed townies we wonāt be able to protect ourselves from them.
I would much rather have a confirmed townie out later then for the short benefit of early game as even scum can no action and trick the tracker.
The doctors still have their immunity against the kind of kill they prevent, so we wouldnāt be completely defenseless. The outing strategy has its benefits, but the macho modifier right now makes it way too risky to try it which is why I didnāt start the match recommending the protective roles to out themselves.
