Can you explain your Zone read I asked about also?
I have to go and wonāt be back till EOD
I was hoping Iād be able to play this but apparently Iām really idiotic and have gotten myself mislynched twice in a row
Heās just a villager lol
Why? Have you ever played with scum Zone?
Okay, but in all seriousness, Zone is a villager because even when he was in the whole ālynching is -EVā fallacy state he was still trying to advance the gamestate.
Where are yours?
Well, I am quite confident that Simon and Magnus is town
I donāt remember this but if Zone ever seriously considered a no lynch, thatās counter to his values as a player and heās much more likely to compromise those as scum than as town.
iirc he never considered nolynch, but it was more the case that he considered survival more important in this kind of game than wolfhunting because of the difference in game styles
Iām calling that this is a reaction test, by the way.
You testing me by pushing me agressively on my Zone read would make sense since I fucked up majorly on faking that read in anni.
I agree that Sulit is scummy but we should look for others wolf as well
The easiest way to read Zone is to call him obvious town and not explain why. Itās also the easiest thing to put every player with significant thread influence in your towncore or near it. Iām obviously going to wonder what your motive behind it is.
But yeah I recognize theyāre not synonyms by definition. I just honestly donāt care about their definition. Language is defined by how it is used, as the be all end all. Definitions are there to serve and support that, not the other way around.
Iām okay with that but when you use word choice like this to show that it becomes much less logically sound.
Word choice on its own is only solid evidence if the person in question is notable in using different word choice in the past. Otherwise, when on its own, I would argue that word choice is almost always NAI.
If youāre arguing tone thatās one thing. But tone is more than a particular word choice in one place. Itās punctuation, how words are used together, what they choose to respond to, and some other things too that are harder to put in explicit terms, too.
I will say I know this. Itās not about the words themselves but the differences between the past and the present. My previous arguments still apply.
Itās sad but thatās not the wolfy thing. Multiple town have that standpoint right now, including people who are consistently town read, such as zone.
I have a town lean on him, but Iām used to maneuvering plans around suspicious people, so Iāll be fine. This is the misc-game aspect of this, where I have much more relative experience/skill.
no no no
itās not that
My word choice reads are NOT meta reads.
Meta reads Are good
Word choice reads are pretty much exclusively meta reads. Doing anything else is not consistent for a given person
In this case*
Isnāt Zoneās thread position more ārationally self-interestedā? Like he wants to survive as first priority but is still working towards the greater good rather than āIām getting car and leaving for Canada ASAPā
Theyāre based on my understanding of a villager of a particular kindās psychology.
Sulit is Level 2, so I read him from the assumption that he reads things seriously, which is backed up by his play in other games, and then I noticed he said something that was in character for a different kind of player, which indicated some kind of oddity in motivation, which when said in the context of the difference makes him wolfy.
That is NOT a meta read.
