While he may have left the forums, that doesn’t mean you can’t get an award.
He showed us the flaws with the mod team, review team, and the community. These are things that some people are unwilling to face but are needed to be faced regardless, and he took on the challenge of doing so.

The guy doesn’t really play mafia that much but is still active in the community
We’ve had our share of disagreements but in 2021 pigeon has been honestly a pretty chill part of the community. The guy clearly cares about this place in a way more than it just being a fun spot to hang out in.

It’s pretty early but I wanted to put this out there
because when I genuinely sit down and think “who here in 2021 (who is not a mod) is here and actively cares about improving and helping the community”

I’m leaving the game part of these blank, though eevee could be tied to the discussion 7 or Tank thread, and me to the help katze make their Champs bio thread, these awards are designed to be all-around

Went through the thread in search of nominations I’d second.

“Dedicated, Enjoyable, Enthusiastic” are three words I think define Chloe extremely well, both inside and outside of the game.

Chloe has shown in every single game she’s played that she is not there to give it anything less than 100%. She will post hundreds, sometimes thousands of times… and these aren’t just one liners. While doing this, Chloe manages to consistently be the most enjoyable player in the game. Time and time again, she will be a shining beacon of good vibes. She is the life of the party, and brings it with her wherever she goes… while she herself, is also partying hard.

Now, while being all of these things, Chloe is very competent as both alignments. As a villager, she is able to consistently be found as one, letting her commonly become a town leader, which she is very capable of doing. Her WiM is consistently extremely high, and she is able to view the game from multiple angles, including some unique perspectives, which commonly allows her to have greater than average reads in these games.

As a wolf, Chloe has displayed the ability to shake off any struggles in her way and translate them into a scarily strong social game – and has proven to be capable of turning her strengths as a villager into a surprisingly capable wolf game.

All of these traits together just turn Chloe into a player who you want to play with, and you’ll enjoy it so much you might forget that you should be scared to play against her.

This game was a bit weird mechanically, given the “hydras, but not really, but also yes” nature of it, as there were two threads with 9 players each, and each slot had one player in each thread.

Both mafia slots properly utilized this to dominate thread control in the first thread, which caused a chokehold over the entire game. In the second thread, while they weren’t the dominant voices themselves, the wolves were strongly townread by every dominant voice, allowing them to still control the general narrative. This is all the more impressive when you consider that the second thread had multiple traditionally strong villagers.

Additionally, the mechanical play of the wolf team was extremely good – targetting a PR for nightkills every single night, and, despite a wolf being Jailkept N1, they never lost their cool, and continued doing their thing.

Both slots played exceptionally well in all these regards, and as a team . This is most evident if you read through the team chat, where there are literally thousands of messages between them. All four of them were bouncing off each other, both strategically and morally.

Best Town Perfomance - Single Player (small game): For a good individual performance as town in a game with 15 or fewer players.

Gonna throw a nom towards @orangeandblack5 (on @Nyarchmage) for his play in catgirl bomb nightless

Despite blowing up a villager in his first post he managed to correctly PoE the remaining wolves and case the last one in the final 5. Solid play all around in a tricky setup to navigate and after a rough start, thought it deserved a mention.

Best Town Performance - Single Player (large game): For a good individual performance as town in a game with 16 or more players.

Nominating @Mistyx for FoL Annual Mash

Literally rock-solid town play on nearly every front, Mistyx completely crushed the game while also literally hosting another mash on the side. With fantastic reads from start to finish, great utilization of her role, and a strong leadership role in the town, Mistyx was almost undoubtedly the town player that did the most towards eliminating the scum, and arguably the only reason she didn’t was being put into a neighborhood with somebody whose sole purpose was to lead her astray. One of the best town performances in any rolemadness games on the site.
