Let me explain it to you this way, remove any bias of me being a Neutral and hear me out:
If Mastermind gets lynched, the Assassin becomes the Mastermind. However, if you jail the Assassin that becomes the Mastermind, then there will be no conversions
If Assassin gets lynched, you can jail the starting Mastermind and there would be no conversions
Met would become Assassin in either scenario, but kills are less impactful than conversions as kills don’t change PoE while conversions resets the PoE for almost everyone
