Another problem is that with the redirect and occupation, it is reasonably confirmable and not anti-BD enough. Iā€™d suggest a passive that hinders the BD somehow or having affected BD targets silently lose one use of their limited abilities to make it more of threat. Making BD day abilities fail is also an option. It just needs slightly more anti-BD mechanics to prevent open claiming.

(Or maybe Iā€™m just remaking Warlock now)

About this Alchemist change.

I want it to still feel like Alch, making it extremely anti BD would just make it another anti BD neut (which imo we have too many of). The only Neut which gives some utility right now to BD is Mercenary and yet it can still be contracted to evil.

Alchemist really does not need to be another Warlock or Sellsword/Fanatic.

I just want it to not have the kingmaker status and be not a chore to play.

Tl;dr

Alch needs some of the essence of what it originally was but needs to be more involving to play than just ā€œOpenclaim to survive also kill prince because why not lolā€ and no kingmaking

and we have enough anti bd neuts.

I meanā€¦every Neutral that can win with BD has kingmaker status also it isnā€™t like this kind a situation even happened in FoL.

Neutral killer has kingmaker scenarios. 3rd party or neutrals will always come with this effect. Itā€™s unavoidable.

Neutral evils kingmake between neutral killer and the evil faction just the same.

A neutral benign should be priority in my opinion. With alchemist bring removed and having both a scorned and devil variant, it is no longer balanced in my opinion.
