FoL Feedback Thread

I thought of the type of CD you could insert into devices, but thatā€™s probably not it.

We should probably bring the topic of discussion back to the original purpose of the thread soon.

R.I.P. CDFM

Final 4ish wincons for NK are a good idea and we should do it

CMV

Anyway, my feedback from the recent FoL:

ā€¦Nothing, really. Wolves were playing poorly. One was, anyway.

Slanking bad. (@ Emilia) Iā€™d seriously consider an anti-slanking mechanic of some sort.

Numbers might have to be altered for FoL.

To clarify, Iā€™m talking about myself.

I donā€™t think the rand being BD-sided made a notable difference. We didnā€™t lose because of mechanics, we lost because we were obvious.

Check this out, if you havent already.
PS: Solic has written a better Strigoi variant already, a bit downwards

I pretend I ignore that last part, sure I stressed out I had to cry a bit in SFoL58 but I ainā€™t no quitter as long I can contain myself.

There are two kinds of people:
First one thinks leaving is okay, and slanking should be ā€œpunishedā€ by force replacing out
Second one thinks slanking is okay, but leavers should be blacklisted
:joy:

I think the only time Iā€™ve cried over FM was PMFM

We donā€™t talk about PMFM

You arenā€™t leaving

Youā€™re replacing

Key difference

Also if you do it often then yes you get blacklisted

But in a game over weeks, life happens

We need to allow for that

How is replacing not leaving

Someone else is taking the reigns

Why does that matter?

Because it doesnā€™t kill a slot that should be alive, just swaps the player in control

Replacing is on purpose. Slanking is just when life happens.

Replacing lets the game continue in spite of irl

Slanking drags everyone else down with you

The distinction between replacing out and gamethrowing is accountability.
Due to the long nature of forum games, you simply cannot predict if an issue in real life will pop up.
