FoL Feedback Thread

eh.
Almost every game i’ve been a part of within the last 4 months has had at least 1-2 replacements.

actually i’d have to look hard to find the last game i was a part of here without any.

Sorry its public knowledge

NFoL 4.

No, one that i was a part of

No it is not stop with this awful attitude

I think I co-hosted EFoL 3? But not sure

have not been involved with any of the other EFoL’s

If you actually cared and were not using it as a boogeyman to attempt to prove your point you would report these so-called cheaters

that said i do find the status quo better than any alternative i’m currently able to imagine because like i said modkilling slots in FM is bad and if you asked for explanations and factored them in heavily in considering whether or not to punish players or not, people would be heavily incentivized to lie and craft grandiose stories to avoid punishment

I do still think it’s too easy to replace out of games currently, but im utterly stumped as to a fair and sustainable solution.

I can do this later, but I remember distinctly thinking of one of my games as a revolving door, which is just not fun for anyone involved.

Thank you

I don’t think they can be classified as cheaters. I don’t think slankers are cheaters either, but they do ruin the experience somewhat.

note: this is a bit different than me thinking there’s a full on crisis of this happening way too often ATM (i don’t, at least not yet)
But I do think it’s too easy to replace out, but like I said, every possible solution i can think of is clearly worse than the status quo, so unless there’s something else possible, I prefer the status quo.

I think the worst one was the Mountainous, but it was pretty awful in your game as well

The only thing we can punish is repeat offenders because everyone is allowed to replace out, losing your ability to replace out because someone else did it before you is inherently unfair

My experience is also a bit in the past, so maybe the situation has improved. :man_shrugging:

I was literally gone for 4 months and you’re acting like I should know this

I think we’re all in agreement for this.

and also considering explanations heavily in deciding whether or not to enact consequences before someone is a repeat offender would just encourage blatant and grandiose lying.
so that’s worse than the status quo imo.
