Also it feels really weak as an ability.

Maybe have it so if the cult leader’s target is immune (or barriered) then your target will be converted instead (and that can fail too)

I say no cult points to Paladin.
Not necessary.
Converting paladin should be a reward in itself.

No. Just no

^ Pretty much that my dude. No need to break the mold to make pally a weak convert if we were going to do this at all

You have not brought a SINGLE argument for more than 0 cult points

Would convert day ability bypass prevention

Like visit prevention? Yes

Yes. Paladin is the main investigator. Getting rid of your main investigator is exceedingly powerful already. There needs to be a tradeoff, or paladin will be regularly targeted for conversion.

More importantly would it protect from occupy? And what about the CL being jailed?

the tradeoff is the paladin no longer being the main investigator

List of problems:

It wouldn’t be like a frenzy for converts, just a “screw your magic barrier” ability (because Unknown does have a bit of a point, no need to make it too good at least)

How is this a tradeoff? Everyone can fake investigations.

Except king

Yeah but that’s not relevant.

I’m just saying because it doesn’t actually counter that many ability’s and making it a backup rather than a pierce would be more consistently useful without indirectly nerfing already weak classes as much.
