That tanked literal years of work and an experience for 100 players that had been going on for weeks

that’s like

just not true though

Seeing that before the game got canned, the players were voting the cheater over an openwolfer was very telling and I liked that

No its not, JoJos was at much of a fun ride for me as it was the players, if that got ruined I would have been pissed as that was like 120 hours of work

Also I’d really hope you’d feel apologetic about breaking rules for what sounds like an extended period of time

When I hosted, I never did it for my own ego. I just did it for my players.

Its not for ego, I enjoy people enjoying content I made. Thats why i like making art and games. I dont need recognition, I just wanted to make a fun expereince for those around me that I enjoy to enjoy

I don’t understand how you can realize now that something you’ve apparently been doing was against the rules and just be like ā€œman I can’t believe these spiteful people have such a ruleā€ instead of ā€œoh man I’m so sorry I didn’t understandā€

I can get questioning the rule if you think it’s a bad one, in fact I’m all for that, but showing blatant disregard for the rules, and in fact flouting breaking them, is just not a good look

We all strive to make the best experience for the players

But it’s still the host’s game

Then you should care about the other fifteen, or seventeen, people in the game rather than sanctioning cheating because ā€˜it’s not like that in ToL’

It’s on both their fault for 1. Telling friend who is in game about alignments and 2. To not replacing out instead

Not in fol, and we talk about fol here, not about FM.

to be fair

If Priestess wants to host a game where limited oog communication is allowed that’s fine

But like

That’s really not the attitude I’m feeling here

I still put my heart into making FOL better

Yes

Yes it is

The host is the one running the game

It is their responsibility

well in this case it’s community-designed(with a core group of people doing the most work)

and so I am slightly upset that you were breaking the rules to gain an unfair advantage of a game i in part helped influenced.

I wasn’t upset until you started defiantly taking the stance that you are unequivocally in the right in breaking the rules

Now I’m honestly not a fan

I honestly didnt know it was a rule, when I did it.

Before that, some mentorship, fine whatever what’s done is done

But like the blatant disrespect for everyone here is just

No
