Then that’s a misleading definition
How?
What about changing it to only irresponsile communication
the problem is
We’ll never know
And that’s really the root of the issue right there
what
if anything that’s misleading
Cheating = breaking game integrity, or the attempt to.
Game integrity includes the fucking rules
Because using big letters to say hi while making it obvious it’s not from host/mod doesn’t fall under average person’s definition of cheating
If I go and ask orange to look at PKR’s Iso and tell me if he thinks PKR is scum then that’s a massive game integrity violation!
like boi
Spamming the n word in ToL might not adversely affect the game from a technical perspective
But you’ll still be very correctly banned for breaking the rules you agreed to when you joined
i admit i talk about shit going on in fm with others who are in no way involved with fm and EVEN THEN i keep it vague and general
No, because we can barely enforce this rule as is, as in most cases the host doesnt know or the players never tell. So to be safer we have it be stricter. We dont want game integrity to be broken in any shape or form and if thats from another an outsider slipping info, or a player being coacher, we dont want it.
it’s just part of my chaos strat orange
How? If orange is not a player, then its not.
This is arguably worse because it breaks the rules and affects the game outcome
like it’s just “ugh x is being an idiot in thread”
it is giving you an advantage from outside the confines of the game
which is unfair, and cheating, and against the rules
Stupid things like that also got you shot at in Jojos as someone convinced them a host was a neut. It wasnt big text but seeing as something like the host is a neut could get you shot a big letters of anything could be misinterpretted as well.
The only thing that’s stopping people from doing it is the rule either way so changing it won’t make irresponsible communication more
y’know
xblade has community banned people for cheating on the forums before
the rules are very real
