The same would apply if the Knightā€™s attack was healed by a physician, blocked by King, prevented by anything or if the Knight was occupied

Itā€™s original purpose was supposed to be a Cult Killer class just like the Assassin is for the Unseen, thing is due to how the Cult works better with conversions than night kills, it just didnā€™t really fit with the faction.

If roll Physician and become converted n1 I typically claim Knight and then I use an obvious defile. This is typically enough to get BD to random lynch their healer claims.

Mislynching as an evil is fun.
