Iām going to address this because I understand what the solution is
hint: as long as the game is rolemadness with rigid kp, the game will be swingy
You can try to bite at it
But nothing you do will actually fix issue of blowout games being fairly prevalent
So I could do one of four things to make the swing not super annoying:
- Marson joke
- Butcher most of the setup
- VTs
- The Fourth Option
oh and make knight a babysitter instead of an elite bodyguard
either that or REMOVE IT

Stop giving a shit about fully removing swing and accept the bullshit that comes with it
The setup has to be similar to ToL
But it also needs to be more balanced than it currently is
Beyond global reduction in power, thereās no solution that extends games to the point that the game is not going to be decided by d1/n1/d2/(maybe)n2 that keeps the āToLā part intact
That relies on other town vig spawning
And no interruption on either knight or other player

But Iām going to take it to itās logical extreme
every role punishes scum for any slight mistake they make
and all of them together create a cacophony not dissimilar to an avalanche roaring down a mountain
either babysitter knight, elite bodyguard knight, or something else entirely
because that something else entirely probably strays hard from tol, that creates issues with āmuhtolā
Thereās a point at which there are only problems since youāre trying to survive being pulled both ways
