There were quite some new players, so I said that improving as the match goes on also counts if they hadn’t been in prior games and the votes went how they went.
Personally think that spot should be replaced by “best reader” role and it cover all sides and roles. Gikkle was the clear MVP for town but didn’t talk much, whereas Arete was good on reads generally and made good moves. If scum makes accurate reads in scum chat or in game they should get that honor too.
Town MVPs will always go to power roles like Knight, Invest or Prince and not readers.

hard disagree with the top town, i’d prefer the top town go to solid town LEADERS, Gikkle while very efficient in night actions didn’t do a good job leading. Not denying their very good night actions tho

i’m very much neutral on it, i don’t see the benefit however i don’t see anything that bad with it

Majority vote decided on it. That’s as fair as you can make it.
Diluting titles over deepwolving, powerwolving, townleader, mechanical maestro, best buddy, best pocketer, best ATE, best scumhunter, best power rule snuffer etc. will make everyone have to vote way too much.
If you find a particular aspect more important, then simply weigh that more in your vote in the existing categories. If they don’t win, pay them a compliment and I’m sure it’ll brighten their day just the same.
Top improved is necessary, so that we celebrate progress and not “the very best” at all times.
Every role in FoL is a power role except Prince having more power. There is also an inherent bias in who dies sooner. They are definitely less likely to win, but they have also affected the game less, so yeah… what’s fair? And this is in a heavily regulated environment of FoL, now imagine edge cases with the crazy forum games stuff we sometimes come up with. It’s not a perfect system, but the problem is that there is probably not a perfect system.
It’s just a little extra to reward exceptional play post game. Any feedback, praise or criticism you want to give, you’re still free to.
Yeah… Wait, no he claimed Warlock an anti BD class. So was he… robbed. Or did he rob himself. Just be careful with ur claiming next time, dont claim fool, then alch, then flat out Warlock. Make sure you know what you are claiming and the ramifications of doing so.
He managed to survive 2 days 2 nights with jester claim
Cuz usually Prince deals with them but since that wasnt an option town had to deal with bigger threats and check the bounty
