I think the likeliest scenario is that this Possessor didn’t fully read Scorned classcard before they altered the kill.

Odds of a CL attacking n1 instead of converting are slim to none.

Odds of Assassin hitting same target as NK, and that target being a PoE Katze is slim to none.
