There’s very few scenarios where Brakuren isn’t the original bind, and they are predicated on one of two scenarios:

  1. Mthe is pulling a gambit to shorten the game becuase he thinks Cult is about to win.
  2. Mthe claimed alchemist as scum for some reason

I doubt the first scenario because that would be an extrordanarily risky play, and I don’t think an outed Alchemist would want to do something like that.
