Fool should not hurt evils

Mostly because the situations where that applies usually take planning and forethought and are risky to execute.

Iā€™d argue that all Cultseen are category 1

Note that correct =/= ideal

Is THAT why people execute Alchemists instead of actual evils in a LyLo situation. Aight

thats not the point im making

Itā€™s probably because they expect the Alchemist to be an ā€œAlchemistā€.

And even if they donā€™t, an Alchemist may just be the piece that gives scum majority that day, in which case removing it is still net gain.

an alche dead is still not a bd dead in lylo.

I disagree. Therefore fool is not a correct Lynch.
Doesnā€™t matter that heā€™s neutral. His Lynch hurts the town, so he should not be lynched.
You could tweak fool around so that he has abilities which are designed to trick people, but little to no abilities that directly harm someone, making the correct move to keep the fool alive. If you have a knight or prince with a spare execute, go for it, but otherwise, leave him alive, at least until town is in a place where the bad effect of lynching him isnt so bad.
saying that because he is neutral, his lynch should never punish town is the type of talk that leads to town executing a known assassin and letting the mastermind convert another town.

im actually not sure what the fool classcard is right now, as the wiki is wildly incorrect and the fol thread definitely isnt right for tol so if someone could fill me in that would be good

yeah then. if you know who the fool is and dont have knight or prince or whatever way of killing it just dont lynch it untill it doesnt hurt the town that much

Losing 2 days of lynches is always bad for BDā€¦ actually itā€™s horrible for BD.

This viewpoint always gets me

The whole point of this discussion is that Fool is non-Town and shouldnā€™t punish Town for lynching it

Bringing up ā€œbut it punishes Town for lynching itā€ as a defense of it punishing Town for lynching it is logic so circular it makes me wonder how so many people come up with it and none realize itā€™s fallacious to an extreme fault

my point of debate is that it is not a correct lynch.
not whether or not a correct lynch should be punished

i do see what you mean though.

Your basis for that argument is flawed

Itā€™s only ā€œincorrectā€ because of the very thing we are debating
