It’s happening. It’s here. It’s sort of retro, but we don’t care. Signatures.

Now, if you have dark theme, you may miss the memo that the signature is a URL – ONLY AN IMAGE! Link to an imgur or something.

For best results, MINIMIZE your pic via tinypng.com or other means.

Yes, animations are supported.

Anyone that goes overboard with this will have signature features permanently revoked. Don’t be annoying. Have animations be subtle and slow. Don’t make signatures huge. Keep them vertically skinny. Don’t make your signature vertically bigger than mine (86px is mine, 100px is probably ok) – as for horizontal, just don’t let it go past that line (is that 700px?)

Use my signature as an example size template.

This is a test run ~ I think signatures give people personalities, if not overdone. So let’s try this out.

EDIT: Normally, this is disabled to SEE signatures by default. However, if you made your account before this post, I turned it on for you. What a nice dude I am. You can turn this off if you don’t wanna see spammy signatures.

For anyone else new, they won’t see signatures unless they manually turn it on in their profile settings.

TL;DR: Again, your signature should be small and subtle. Don’t go bigger than my example signature.

Yeah, i needed to redimension gifs and pics aswell before i put those in. Thats a MB there.

There’s no feature to resize the signatures, for some stupid reason, and someone already posted a hero banner as their signature.

tbf you could always disable seeing them but they are just too big if you have the option on tbh

Was doing it on Photoshop actually, I could redimension/optimize them to everyone as well
