Lynching the soulmate forces PKR to swap over temporarily to new host and eventually comes back to original host - ultimately killing the revenant.
It’s likely he has to choose someone or it’s randomized, you’re correct that changing new souls is day ability.
Not to mention, when he doesn’t show up with his ‘presence’ by the morning then we have succeeded in eliminating the revenant.
Eliminating the other soulmate before PKR could change transfer back to the initial soulmate being dead.

This FoL does not have separate nobles (and can win with opposing faction) and King lynch voting until Day 4.
Ingeel mentioned ROLEBLOCKED and got a PA MESSAGE.
If this is absolutely true, then that means voting up Damafaud is no longer necessary

If we follow ThePlex’s "Occam’s razor’ solution, that indicates Alchemist is responsible and that Damafaud is the mad king after all. Imagine no more kings?
If we are not allowed to lynch the King until Day 4, Revenant just stays on the King and lives for free. This balance change doesn’t work with this forum class.
