I do this like every time I write a pre-written post, you can check literally any of my games
that’s why I said I was vaguely offended, I think I’m a better villager than Marshal is so if it is an SPK I’m annoyed that she died over me
with that being said I’ve played like three games on the site this year, half the players here have barely actually played with me (the orange name means I’m a mod not that I’m good 
)
it’s also possible that it was actually a reads kill and I’m just being dumb but FMPoV if it’s a reads kill the main person that implicates is you, Marshal and I mostly agreed on our reads but I was semi-shielding you at EoD whereas Marshal’s limited actual EoD content posts suggested that she preferred you to die/that you could be TMIing Aelin V

Aretes, uh, wallpost doesn’t look bad upon reading it. I actually agreed on things while looking through them which is sad because marshal is dead.

i don’t think anyone has made this argument yet, but the argument that “mafia wouldn’t do this” in regards to arete’s wallpost is pretty dumb, as hippo said it’s an easy way to gain towncred without actually having to receive any backlash from the person they are wolfcasing
aelin literally did the same thing to marshal last game
as far as the content in the wallpost goes it… doesn’t make me feel much either way to be honest

I think a more appropriate argument would be if arete was mafia they could have just said “lol i wrote a wolfcase on marshal overnight silly me” which would achieve a similar effect without actually having to face scrutiny over the content of the post
from my experience with Mist (the player that Ketsuban is an alt of) she would generally only get sarcastic/snappy like that if she actually meant it
it would if she actually went anywhere with it
instead it’s 1 post that’s actually trying to solve people’s alignments buried in between pepega joycat and a bad pun

Instead of saying why let me let list my credentials in baitology and hope an argument of appealing to authority works.
To bait is an art I live and breathe. Ever since was a child I knew that it was my destiny to be a master baiter. Trolling people by bait is trolling in its purest, most refined form. You must ensure your targets are ignorant of the intent of the bait and fall for it despite its audacity. Tis something I have mastered for year under my training regime.
When I go fishing I dont need fish food, my mere existence is sufficient bait. My friends call me Jason, for I am the Bateman. My ex-girlfriend took our switch so now when I try bait and switch all I am left with is bait.

I didn’t have a particularly strong read on you, I do think I was kind of subconsciously ignoring your slot yesterday because you were obviously not W/W with Marshal
I think you’re reading the vote as having more intention to kill than it actually does, it’s an ‘Arctic did something vaguely bad’ vote not an ‘Arctic is a member of the Mafia, die’ vote
I do this every time I have a prewritten post, if this is a real read it will take you literally five minutes to verify it
with that being said I did actually see Marshal’s flip before I posted my wallpost, my brain was like ‘oh no if I’m like “I had a case on Marshal” and don’t post the case people are going to assume I was just lying for cred’ so I decided to just post it anyways
in hindsight this was probably dumb

i would have said this is a bad excuse for not having a read on me but i do think this perspective is probably a villagery one
my ‘go do your real life job’ timer is going off, will answer further questions when I get back
until then I would like everyone who was present at EoD to explain their reasons for voting on the wagon they did – particularly curious about @Wendy since they mentioned trusting my read on Cabbages not being a wolf if Aelin is V, but they hadn’t really seemed to townread me before that as far as I can remember
