When I saw Gorta case Arete, that removed all doubts I had on Arete.
The alt rules suck, indeed they do. But the alts suck more. I hate playing against them and it just makes it completely unfun. The only reason I had a chance of even bothering was when people made themself obvious which isnāt what alts should be doing anyway!
The only reason I used an alt was to get away from heavy posting and the fact I just had a 1.7k post game which is what I can do when I tryā¦as evil of course, being Town sucks.
Alts are just obnoxious and in the way, theyāre a thing thatās there for no reason and theyāre overused. If they werenāt overused and only used when people need to/want to but not heavily abused consistently.

If you canāt handle an alt the same way youād handle a normal slot, you arenāt handling the slot fairly

Thatās completely false for a bunch of reasons, a lot of which were brought up in this game.
Alts automatically arenāt acting like any other player and that does affect your ability to read them
Yeah, the fake tone thing is really bad as a lot of alts do that shit to make them harder to identify, which makes them feel extremely wolfy.

Because alts do work so there has to be some reason theyāre seen as such a big issue
