After swimming practice, Jay decides to get a cup of coffee. While standing in the line, he notices the girl’s outburst
J: mumbling “What is she talking about… First the weird card, now this?? Is this some elaborate prank or am I going crazy.”
Kaden pulls out his black card, only showing the face
“Because I’ve got one too. May I take a seat?”
It was at this point you notice that his eyes are much paler than others. As if their iris is completely white…
J: confusedly “Now a weird man is approaching her? Is this place safe?? He has a card too… So maybe it’s not a prank? Too bad I can’t stay, or I’ll be late to school. I’ll find out the answers at the library later, I guess”
Jay runs to school with his coffee
“Okay, sure. I don’t have much more time to chat cause I have a class to go to soon and-”
Eliza looks at Kaden’s eyes and is shocked by their appearance
“Uhhhhh… how di-did you get such odd looking eyes?”
Vashni orders a drink and sits in a chair that is close to Kaden and Eliza over hearing them talk
“Rare birth defect. People look at them and think I’m blind, but my vision is 20/20.”
“I suppose i might as well introduce myself.” Kaden pulls out his ID
“Agent Viper, FBI. I’m currently looking into this ‘Olympus Library’. And how it can give people supernatural abilities”
“Su-Su-Supernatural abilities?! Does that explain why I know every single thing about coffee now?!”
Eliza grabs the card and turns it over to its back side. It reads:
Study:The user of the card is able to obtain more information about a nearby object by looking directly at the object for five seconds. If Study is used on an object, then the user will know its origin and materials.
Eliza starts to freak out
“How does a thing like this exist?! It doesn’t make any sense!”
writes down Eliza’s name
“I’m not obligated to say that. I may come back to you at a later date, but for now I need to find out more about this Olympus Library… good day.”
Kaden leaves the shop, not noticing the other card-bearers in the queue
Eliza is petrified at what has just taken place, maybe she stayed up for too long and is hallucinating She looks at her watch indicating that she only has ten minutes to get to her class
“Oh dear! I’m going to be late!”
Eliza rushes out of the coffee shop and dashes to her class
Misty wakes up in her dorm after a long day at work, groans, and gets up groggy. She doesn’t even notice the package at first, groggy as she is with sleep. But then she does.
“Odd.”
She goes and picks it up, and looks in it.
And jumps!
Staring at her is a familiar black card with a familiar black figure.
She looks at the card blankly for one moment, flashbacks to the previous game filter through her mind.
Slowly, cautiously, she picks up the card. The moment she touches the card, she slams shut her eyes, expecting the flash of light to consume her and change her form.
Nothing.
*She opens her eyes and looks down at herself. Nothing. Still the same dirty blonde girl she was before. She can’t tell either she should be relived or disappointed. But one thing was certain. The Godcards were back! *
Fuck.

*walking along the street, Kaden starts muttering again
“So… it’s not just a placebo. These… ‘godcards’ are unique, and give supernatural powers… The people at the top need to know about this.”

Eliza enters a classroom in a hurry. As soon as she enters, the teacher stares at her with disappointment
“Ms. Wallace, why on earth did you come here so close to the start of class?”
Eliza sweats and clears her throat
“Sorry, Mrs. Adams. I overslept from studying too much. Please forgive me.”
Mrs. Adams’ facial expression hasn’t changed
“Just take a seat and pay attention.”
Eliza staggers to her spot with many other students looking at her
