Godcard: Another Time [Roleplay Thread]

Toby inspects the figure, staying a fair distance away.

He seems torn on whether to approach or stay back.

She arrives to the police station in about 40 minutes, she could see a receptionist and loads of officers walking about

“Oh, don’t mistake me for a good Samaritan. Instead, help me help you… I want in on the task force, and when I’m on it, you’ll have everything I know.”

Jay stays silent.

J: “The most beautiful people are always the most deceiving… There’s no way I can trust her anyway.”

Eliza walks up to the receptionist
“Excuse me, I’m here to volunteer on the investigation on Raul Long.”

she looks a bit familer

J: Don’t go near it honey…

The receptionist nods

“Go to right here, and then take a right from the coffee machine, you would see Lieutenant’s office nearby.”

The Lieutenant seems a bit worried

“Well… I’m not too sure about that… How do you know things about Raul, explain first.”

As if detecting his thoughts, Misty eyes Jay.

“So I assume you have a Godcard too?”

Some part of her is annoyed at being ignored, if only she could punish him somehow. Wait, what was she thinking!?

Eliza follows the directions of the receptionist and grabs a cup of coffee along the way from the coffee machine. She can never have too much coffee

“Do we have a deal? Once you agree to the terms, you’ll have all the information I know.”

Coming back from the magic section, Peter hands a book to Misty and bows

“Here it is, written by Prouge Namiel. She knew everything about the greek gods.”

@MaximusPrime

He turns over to Jay

“Hello, I am Peter. I am a scribe in this library, what could I help you with?”

Jay senses Misty’s coldness and arrogance and only ignores her more.

J: disgusted “Ugh, she’s just another shallow person concerned with her looks.”

J: neutrally “Yes, I do.”

She takes it and nods.

She then turns and leaves, clutching the book under her arm. But first she decides to get a drink.

Does she decide to head to Rose’s bar?

Yes.

She can see two figures in Baker’s office. They seem to be talking

@Daericul

“Fine… deal. We don’t have enough men to handle this.”

@PolikShadowbliss

As she enters the bar, it seems to be a bit packed. Evening has come and people like to spend their time in the bar, it feels outright crowded

Jay turns to looks at Peter.

J: smiling “Actually, I was wondering if I could get a book about Greek Gods as well. Do you happen to have another copy of that? Poseidon to be exact.”

Misty takes a seat by the figures and orders some water.
