I need some help with the powers.
CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Shade
Age: ??
Gender: Male
Character Alignment: (Neutral)
Backstory: (Shade his true name left to ashes has become nothing but a shadow of his former self. among the 1st experiments for the Olympus Group. the side never would never reveal to the public. now shade ensures that the those who die. stay dead)
Appearance:
Card Name/Figure: Hades
Card Generation: 1st
Card Backstory: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hades
Card Powers: Shade Servant Call upon a shade servant from the underworld to obey your bidding
(I will finish it a bit later)
First power doesn’t need to be powerful. The example I made of Set’s 1st generation is the ability to see people’s latest sin.
Clarification: How long would the duration of the summon will be? I assume the shade is in the shape of an adult?
5 minutes that way I can only use it for simple chores not just battle.
and yes it is the shape of an adult(unless I summon the shade of a kid?)
Good enough. Smaller shade results in longer duration if you want
so hades is the god of the underworld. what could of Alignment do you believe would suit him?
True Neutral.
Hades in the Myths never really interfered in mortal affairs that much.
He stayed in the Underworld most of the time.
Hell, hades isn’t even evil.
I’m inclined to agree with Polik.
He kidnapped Persephone and tricked her to be his wife, but he also let Heracles capture Cerberus.
He was often depicted as angry when someone tried to bring a person back to life, but other than that, he never use unneeded violence.
He did punish Pirithous a little unfairly, but Pirithous did try to steal Persephone.
My figure is far more evil than Hades.
He multilated his own brother for goodness sake.
Hades is actually pretty tame compared to the other Gods of the Greek Pathogen.
Btw I haven’t accepted Set. The power seems too strong for 1st generation.
have you accepted hades?
I’ve liked it, so yes.
CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name and/or Alias: Thomas Morrow
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Character Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (He wants to prusue knowledge aka the truth at whatever the cost).
Backstory: As a kid Thomas was always fascinated with the strange oddities in life, believed aliens are real and as his grandpa used to say: “There’s always a bit of truth in myths”. He would graduate from the top of his class at the police academy and became a rising star with Interpol. This has allowed Thomas to pursue the truth about myths and other unexplainable things, whether he will find it, only time will know…
Appearance: Average length, short brown hair wearing almost always a suit as he is almsot cosntantly working a case.
BLACK CARD INFORMATION
Card Name/Figure: Merlin
Card Generation: 1st
Card Backstory: A man that pursued knowledge of the arcane and the physical.
Card Powers:
-
simple spell practice: can cast simple spells. Too many in a small period exhausts the user physically to the point he/she can’t move. This exlucdes any combat spells.
-
Arcane Knowledge: Use mana to translate any written language into one you understand (excludes code).
What do you define as basic spells and advance spells? Specifications are important. And how exactly is he drained? Physically? Mentally? And how many spells can be casted before he is too fatigued to move?
I’m harsher at this because it can easily be a 5th gen power without limit.
Footnote for @Ami : Are you okay with your character? You might have a harder time powering up since Julius is Lawful.
Basic spells would be like creating a fire etc, convenient spells mostly. more intermediate spells wouldrequire inscriptions or are battle magic, and limit would be 1, and physically drained, I would only use it as a last resort lol
Fine. Accepted.
