The Driver arrives to Raul’s HQ. The Driver and the goon deliver the items to the other goons and construction continues. Meanwhile, Raul managed to get the ownership of that land thanks to extortion and intimidation
With a slight nod, Justin says: “That is what we expected to hear. We will need all the information you know, such as about Raul’s crew.”
Drynold frowns
“They call themselves “The NYC Outfit.” He has other cardholders with also some regular mobsters in that group. They attacked me, with one transforming into something I can’t describe… Like some sort of armor. They’re after the cards, and now they have 2 more cards. I found a card recently.”
Shows his wound on the back
“I almost managed to escape, but Jacques, another cardholder threw a knife at me. They stole my cards before I passed out. They’re not the people you want to mess with if you’re a regular guy. Thomas has run into them aswell. The leader is Raul Long. He wears a black mask, it’s some kind of metal.”
Oh yes I have. They’re dangerous and need to be dealt with. Also I didn’t even know this place existed heh.
The elevator access seems to work with security watching a micro camera that can’t be spotted and recognizes clearance individuals.
One of the researchers approach Justin
“Operative Sionelle, glad to see you here. The project is going well. We’ve seen progress in the suit. I’ll keep you informed”
“Thank you, Mike.”
He turns to Drynold and Thomas: “As you can see, the project has been progressing smoothly. I am sure that a couple of card users will not be able to overpower you in that suit, with the backing of the US Government and Interpol.”
Thomas looks around a bit, amazed at what they’re doing here.
This is some serious next level tech that’s being built here. What’s the status on the suit?
The researcher looks at him
“I am not in charge of the suit. The lead researcher knows more. His name is Lewis Bridge, I can help in any other way though.”
Hmm, very well. Lead the way.
Jacques throws a can of beer into the trashcan, and gets up from his seat to find Raul. A minute later, he does and asks:
“How is the construction going?”
Raul can be seen supervising the construction. The goons are working hard and Raul is not doing anything, only shouting.
“No, you idiot! Don’t put the plank there… god…”
He looks at Jacques and says
“Hey, it’s going well. If only these GOONS WOULD KNOW HOW TO BUILD.”
He quickly turns to goons while he said that and looks back at Jacques
“Is there anything you need?”
“Only checking up on the building. This organization is impressive. When did you and Mabel create it?”
Raul takes off his mask and sits down
“I made it after I gained my card. That’s where I met Lilian White aswell. Mabel was one of the only ones who thought like me, she’s the most important asset to this organization.”
Lewis Bridge looks at Drynold, Justin and Thomas

“Ah, you’re here. Very good. Would you like a status update on the suit?”
“Lilian White. I tried calling her… So that’s why your voice sounds so familiar! It was you that responded wasn’t it?”
“I would. How is the suit going?”
Lewis looks at Justin and says

Lewis: “The suit is going well. We’re currently developing a metal that is stronger that titanium so it could take hits from magic users. We have recieved reports of powerful abilities, so we’d like to make sure that the user will be safe.”
He coughs a bit
Lewis: “We’ve managed to add a magic detection device to the suit. We’re currently working on it having a large range, but at this moment, it’s only 1 kilometer, we are working to make it more powerful tho, of course we’ll add shields and blasts, but those stuff will be there later.”
Drynold: “So I’ll be the person using it?”
Lewis: “Yes, you are intended user for it.”
