Jacques continues looking at the situation, although he knows that Mabel can handle herself so he takes an eye off to look at the other gang members. He wants to make sure they aren’t going to get any closer.
The smile doesn’t vanish.
“A bit hasty, don’t ya think?”
She looks over to Jacques.
"I mean you aren’t the only one here who wants me, surely your completion would need to be purged."
She is using both Set’s Heart and Set’s Voice at the same time.
Meanwhile, one of the suspicious figures grabs the gang member by the neck saying
Goon: Boss wouldn’t be happy about this.
He also took off his fedora, it’s one of Raul’s goons… He punches the gang member to the face
Mabel immediately takes advantage of this and pulls her hand away from the horny gang member’s
Jacques is suddenly irrationally infuriated. He unblends his knife, gets up, and stabs the gang member right through the throat.

One of the gang members takes a gun and puts a bullet through the goon’s face.
Gang leader: “Screw them, kill all of them!”
Jacques throws his other knife at the gangster’s gun hand, and it returns to him. He sends his illusions to distract two of the gang members.
2 other gang member quickly tackle Jacques. Starting to punch him in the face. Meanwhile, the 2nd goon yells:
“Mabel, do somethi-”
He gets shot
Jacques tries to fight back but the gang members easily overpower him. He can do no more than struggle as they beat him bloody.
A gang member starts charging at her
Jacques sees the gang member and with all his power frees a hand and throws the knife at the gangster.
The gang leader shoots a bullet at her leg before she turns
The gang leader sees Mabel turn into Set’s form.
Gang Leader: “What the hell is that thing… Kill it!”
3 gang members charge at Mabel, one of them is already wounded. The leader stays back, just in case
Jacques pushes one of the gangsters off to the side, and as the knife returns, it stabs him in the back. He gets one of his illusions in front of the shooter, distracting him from shooting anymore shots at Mabel.
