Godcard [Roleplay Thread]

“You dare to-”
“Father!”

The old man in butler clothing emits a murderous aura, but it disappears after Rosarie’s exclamation

“My father disguised himself as a butler near the time of his death. He has became used to this form”

Jacob bows deeply to the father. “I apologize. I did not know. Please forgive me. May I humbly ask for your name?”

Thomas stopped reading and is making notes, why would Rosarie’s father disguise himself as a butler before his death? what transpired here?

(Is it… ICED Coffee?)

(no puns on iced coffee, that shit is good)

“You may call me Oak Rosarie.”

“Father was the one who let me planted the roses”
Rosarie smiles fondly as she remembers her roses

(Does that make the daughter’s name 'Rosary Rosarie?)

(OR she was called Lady Rosarie because she’s the lady of the Rosarie House)

Jacob looks the father in the eyes, still holding on to Lady Rosarie’s hand. “Very well, Master Rosarie. If your daughter desires, I humbly request permission to continue dancing with Lady Rosarie.” He looks back and forth between the Father and Daughter looking for a response.

His eyes once again surge with murderous intent, but he grits his teeth and says nothing

“Come, let’s dance again!”

Laughing, she pulls Jacob back into the middle of the hall. The music goes on once again

While dancing, Jacob asks, half forgetting he’s talking to a spirit. “Lady Rosarie, You never told me your name. I’m Jacob.”

She leans in and whisper to his ear

“Julia”

The other ghosts also start to dance. Soon, they forget about the green spirits

Completely taken in by the ambiance of the ballroom, and the dancing Jacob whispers back into Julia’s ear “Your roses are beautiful. But not as beautiful as you.”

She giggles hearing so.

“Come. I have something better than the roses”

*She pulls Jacob’s hand to one of the hanging curtains covering the window… only it lead to a balcony. Pretty sure it wasn’t there *

Jacob follows her. “A… balcony?”

Thomas thinks to himself, so the staircase led to a balcony? go figure. Strange ghosts have this much power here…

Julia pulls him until he can see the edge. The roses below look small from up there.

…pretty sure they didn’t go up either

“This view is gorgeous!” Jacob looks down onto the roses below.

(Can I see anything special besides the roses down there? Like the layout of the manor’s yard and such?)

The balcony faces toward the frontyard. Although it’s raining heavily, the balcony is not wet. Jacob can see the roses are actually slithering toward the manor, becoming extremely dense as it gets closer
