As I said, there was an enormous pile of sand, most likely everything in the place at the time, including Lilians body was turned to sand except for Raul and Mabel as they got away.

He goes to the storage room
“You don’t know that for certain. You can’t know until her body has been recovered. Even if Lilian is dead, it’s all the more reason to go after Raul. So he can’t hurt anyone again.”
Sergeant Daed and Officer Jarno recieve a radio call
“Car 11L, Car 11L, there’s been a shooting near the cemetery. you’re the closest nearby, move to investigate.”
Daed starts the car and drives to the cafe. They enter the cafe and start looking around, they see two dead teenagers and a note on the ground. it says "The Outfit wants The Saviour Angel. If you want to see more people dead, we can play that game too."
Daed: “Shit…”
He takes his radio and uses it
Daed: “Central, shooting’s been confirmed. Two dead teenagers, one is a boy and one is a girl. There is also a note here, over.”
Radio guy: “Copy that, patrol cars on the way with ambulance.”
Daed shuts the radio and says:
“We need to talk to Cal.”
