Odd question:
Do you have any social cues that you occasionally forget, and if so, which one?
(for me it’s handshakes; how the fuck are you supposed to know WHEN to shake somebody’s hand? If they actually hold out their hand then it’s a social faux pas, but otherwise you’re just supposed to KNOW that it’s your turn to give people a nice firm handshake. I mean, nobody gives you any signs UNLESS you’ve already failed at your job of being somebody who shakes somebody else’s hands upon meeting them.)
Generally it’s not a which it’s a when I just “snap” and just run right over them.
For the ones that aren’t, social dinners/eating out is a major stress inducer and I almost always forget a few rules. I have gotten better with time but all the social stuff with eating out not a fan. Unless I have someone I can talk with I just take the food to go.
